TerraGo Technologies
Provides solutions that help GIS professionals share interactive, georegistered maps with users anywhere in connected or disconnected modes
GIS professionals have significant time and valuable enterprise resources locked in GIS technology that’s not simple or practical to share, limiting their ability to create actionable intelligence from valuable geospatial assets. TerraGo Technologies develops and markets solutions that help customers leverage geospatial data across enterprises and organizations. Using TerraGo’s products, GIS professionals can easily share interactive, cartographic data that can be viewed and manipulated by anyone, anywhere, anytime in connected or disconnected modes. TerraGo’s products leverage the de facto standard for document portability, Adobe® Reader®, so customers are able to view maps without the need to install additional software or learn new technologies.
Using MAP2PDF®, TerraGo’s extension for the world’s leading GIS applications, GIS pros are able to convert complex geospatial information into easy-to-use, georegistered GeoPDF® files with extensive embedded data and mapping features. End users are able to easily read and manipulate maps wherever they are and send updates back to master GIS files. Customers include organizations that rely on geospatial information to conduct business and support critical operations, including federal, state and local governments, education and research institutions and private enterprises.
TerraGo’s patent-pending technology is the only product of its kind that converts raster and proprietary GIS mapping and database information to text-searchable, geo-referenced PDF files. MAP2PDF is the only product available that allows the creation of both georegistered and GIS database-embedded PDF files.
TerraGo is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. In-Q-Tel initially invested in TerraGo Technologies in August 2006. For more information about TerraGo Technologies, please visit www.terragotech.com.
