GATR (Ground Antenna Transmit & Receive)Technologies, Inc. provides deployable satellite communication (SATCOM) solutions, including a patented inflatable antenna (GATR-Com), advanced material research and development, and custom engineering services.
In today’s shrinking world, SatCom connectivity in many areas of the world is limited, spotty, or non-existent. In the case of military, emergency relief, and broadcast situations there is an increasing need for transportable, reliable, high-bandwidth, and low-power satellite communication solutions. GATR has teamed with companies with enabling technologies and satellite assets to provide a complete inflatable SatCom system. The GATR team specializes in the design, integration, and implementation of large-scale, high-performance telecommunications systems in support of end-to-end multimedia applications such as the Military, Broadcast, and Public Safety markets.
GATR is headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama.
